Ashley Larsen is a Ph.D candidate in Ecology, Evolution & Marine Biology at University of California, Santa Barbara. She is broadly interested in the ecology, economics and population health associated with food production. Her dissertation research focuses on what drives the variation in agricultural pesticide use and if low level pesticide exposure causes increases in adverse birth outcomes.
Ashley holds an MA in economics from UCSB, and a B.S. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from University of Michigan.
