Kevin was a Ph.D candidate in the Geography Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara studying Geographic Information Science (GIScience), focusing on Applied Spatial Statistics. He completed an M.A degree in Geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2014 and graduated with distinction from Dartmouth College in 2010 with a B.A in Environmental Studies and a minor in Engineering Sciences. His interests include the application of GIScience & spatial statistics in public health research. Kevin's current work includes designing and applying methods that contextualize space and place in respect to vulnerability outcomes, to better understand human-environment dynamics (e.g. population health, climate and society).
