PhD 2024 in the Department of Sociology at UC Santa Barbara. I have a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from UC Berkeley where I studied globalization and development. My current research focuses on regional differences in attitudes toward gay men and lesbians, with the broader aim of understanding how contextual factors such as economic development and state policies affect individual attitudes. In past research I have explored queer space and identity in a gay bar, and I previously worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at UC San Francisco.
