Graduate Student Fellow
I am a PhD student in the Economics department at UCSB. I hold a double Bachelors in Economics and Management issued jointly by the University of London and The London School of Economics and Political Science. I also have a Masters in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. My research interests span across multiple fields, including labor, health, development, applied and environmental economics.
My current work investigates how climate change induced natural disasters effect the lives of rural populations in developing countries. Specifically, I explore the impacts of an unexpected flood in 2013 on the mental health of households located in vulnerable areas of Southern Punjab, Pakistan.
